Poland Warsaw Drive-in Racking Cold Storage Warehouse Project

Poland Warsaw Drive-in Racking Cold Storage Warehouse Project

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Industry: Frozen Products

The warehouse covers an area of approximately 2,500 square meters.

Project Scale

Drive-in racking area approximately 1,800 square meters.

Total storage capacity: approximately 2,800 pallet spaces.

The warehouse has a net height of approximately 8 meters.

The customer primarily stores frozen foods and palletized goods of the same type that are handled in bulk, placing high demands on storage density and cold-storage space utilization. Given the high costs associated with constructing and operating cold storage facilities, the customer aims to maximize the number of pallets stored within the limited warehouse area while minimizing the footprint occupied by aisles. By adopting drive-in racking systems, a significant portion of the conventional forklift aisles in traditional pallet racking is converted into valuable storage space, thereby enhancing overall warehouse space utilization. The racking system is designed according to the customer’s pallet dimensions, cargo weights, and forklift types, enabling multi-pallet depths and multi-level storage, making it ideal for the centralized storage of large volumes of goods in a single batch. At the same time, drive-in racking effectively increases storage density in cold storage facilities, reduces construction costs per pallet position, and is particularly well-suited to the high-density storage needs of food, frozen products, and other bulk-stored goods.
